In the concrete block traditional construction system, walls are plastered (up to 10 mms thickness) and then rendered with stucco for final finishing (3 to 5 mms thickness). When pouring concrete walls the rendering stucco (3mm thick maximum) is diretly applied over the concrete surface.This finishing can be left exposed,  or it can be painted, according to requirements.
